Please don't reject me because I'm LDS

Recently I made my first post on this site and was welcomed by many. Thank you all so much and God bless you all. You have no idea how good it felt to be able to share my sexual orientation with fellow Believers in Christ and to still be accepted as a friend. I have been a bit hesitent to post again because of my desire to be totally up front about myself and the fear of being rejected. I am a member of the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter Day Saints. I became a member 20 years ago and it has been the only church that I have ever known. My mom has been going to the same Christian church since before I was born, and even though I never went I guess I considered myself a Christian. My mom, who accepted me as a boylover threw mwe out of the house and practally disowned me when I "converted" to the LDS church. Since being a member of this church, I have gained a strong testamony of the Gospel and a deep love for God the Father and for the sacrifice that Jesus made for us all. I love the Gospel with all of my heart, and love to share my testamony with others. I have made attempts over the years to investagate other churches but every time I mentioned that I was LDS I was greeted not with love, but with hate and anger. Almost in the same way as if I would stand on a downtown street corner and tell passersby that I was a boylover. I am hoping that I am accepted here and at least given the chance to see what this Church is all about. My mind is open to conversion and perhaps even rebaptism. PLEASE GIVE ME A CHANCE In His Love----------------------------RELIEVED (or at least I hope to be) |
