....I've had with a boy has had a "sexual component" to it. Even without a genital expression, the sexual attraction is still there and can be readily used in a positive way. Sexual abstinence which concentrates on denial rather than on positive expression leads, in my opinion, to pessimism and a feeling of being cheated. Finding proper expression, I have found to lead to joy and gratefulness. ---Ford |
