Hi Everyone, Hi Splash, I have some general news about myself, first. I won't be able to do e-mail for a while, I'm not sure how long. But I am going to look into a Hotmail account. I will also be fairly limited as far as the time I can spend here, but I will be here, no matter what! Anyway, Splash (a much nicer name, brother, I like it!), I got a chance to read more of your testimony or story. Fascinating reading, man!!! God has used you in a very special way. And He still is. We have another purpose. And I believe it is just as important (and in some ways, perhaps, MORE important) as our work with boys. And that is, our work with one another. We need to support, care for, and be Christ for, each other. We need each other! We can be strength for the person, boylover, who is not feeling strong. We can be love for the person who is not feeling loved. We can be hope for those who feel hopeless. And we can provide guidence for one another through our shared experiences. I believe that this is actually our "other" purpose. Not to take the place of our work with boys or children, but instead, to suppliment it in each other....so it can be a testimony to our faith! We come from differant faith backgrounds, but this should not deter us. We come from all over the world, but this should only help to make our personal "world" smaller! In God's love let's reach out to one another. And in so doing, we will know what true Christian Brotherhood is really about! Welcome again, Splash...(Love that name!!!). This is our church....our community....our "home". Let's take this journey together! Love in Christ Jesus, Chris |
