Dannyboy, I don't think I understand what you're saying... but here's some more news. I showed my first post to my minister and he responded by apologizing and basically agreeing with all my thoughts. Not affirming them, mind you, just acknowledging the possibility. It was a bit encouraging, although I can't help but think that he just did that to make me feel more comfortable; to be a good counsellor. Ahh, it's that time of year again when the University halls are filling with young people, energetic and ready for an exciting year. This is the most consistently difficult time of year for me, as far as controlling my thought life. All these beautiful boys, I'm sure some of 'em would enjoy an hour or two of recreational sex... I just have to find the ones who do. Wait, no, no... invite them to church, yes, fuck them, no. It's so difficult for me. I'm scared that I might be using church/evangelism as an excuse for being around these cute fellows, but how am I to know? Perhaps that's why I like working with the younger kids: they're all cute, so I don't have to worry about whether I'm only talking to one because he's cute... hehe It seems weird: I'm convinced that thoughts of sex with boys is wrong. That's lust, which is idolatry. But actual sex with boys? I'm not sure about that. It could possibly be impure or adulterous, but how can I know? ideas like sexual purity and marriage are not easily interpreted in a homosexual context... are they? |
