You end by saying, "It is your badge that someday you can show to Jesus and say, 'I was one of yours, my lord, I kept the faith?'" Are you sure he should say that? I don't know if God would be pleased. He may say, "You fool. There you sat while children all around you were crying and dying, and you did nothing. As evil as your desires may have been, there were boys you could have made an impact with, and these boys would have forced you to lean on me. Instead, you hid and did not get in the battle. Your fear forced you never to have known me. I don't need to see a badge. It is the things that are not seen that matter, not badges. Keep the faith. I can still forgive you, for I love you" I don't know what God would say, but I really don't think He would be so impressed with the badge. Something to think about, Once a Boy |
