Do you have a real reason for feeling that it is wrong, or is that just how you feel?

Also, do you feel that being attracted to members of one's own sex and/or having sexual relations with them is wrong? Or is it just the 'homosexual lifestyle' that is wrong.

I was watching the 700 club one night...(wipe that smirk off your face! ;-) Anyway, they were talking about homosexuals -(rather politely - I was surprised)- specifically this one man, who was a homosexual, a cross-dresser, & an abortionist(I wouldn't count on there being all that many people who have all that going for them, or against them as the case may be).

There was all the stuff one would expect, how he realized everything was wrong, and found God... etc. But, the reason I bring it up is that he was living the 'popular idea' of what the 'homosexual lifestyle' is. That is acting silly and/or stupid, dressing like a woman, perhaps pretending to be a woman... And going out every night he could manage, and looking for a man with whom to have sex...

Many people, including the relative of mine who believes that it is sinful, think of this as the 'homosexual lifestyle'. My relative talked of three gay guys having a three-way in a bathroom at some club as an example of the sinful nature of homosexuality. I believe my relative was saying that it wasn't so much the guy-on-guy aspect of it that was sinful, but the strange and unnatural activities that gay men engaged in.

I pointed out that lots of straight people also engage in three-ways, etc. I look upon such strange, unsafe, and purely physical activities to be part of the 'queer lifestyle'. To me the word queer, means strange, unusual, unnatural, weird, and to some degree sick & perverted.

My gay friend is into lots of things that I find improper. Such as having multiple partners, never having an actually relationship with any of them, smoking, drinking, and doing drugs. Supposedly back before I knew he was strange, before he decided he was gay, before he acted 'non-normal' - he was into worse drugs than he is know and, so he says, was into devil-worship. I'm not sure that I believe all of that crap...

And he may not even be gay... Another relative of mine believes that he just couldn't find enough willing female partners...

But just because lots of gay, supposedly gay, bi, & straight people choose to live a 'queer lifestyle' doesn't mean that all members of even one category live that way.

I find the 'popular idea' of the 'homosexual lifestyle' disgusting. I can see why so many find the mere idea of gay people being around them sickening.

But as for my own same-sex tendencies, I would never engage in such filth. If I were to have a relationship with a boy, or a man for that matter, I would only have one partner. The same goes for any opposite-sex relationship.

I also find the idea of God being intolerant & vindictive a repulsive thought.

Hey it's Pi time!(3:14)
Later.
