Hi Once a Boy,

Am I understanding you correctly? Are we to be afraid that if God takes our BL feelings away from us, that other imperfections and shortcomings will become apparent to us?

How else are we to grow in Him? God is not going to reveal ourselves to us all at once. If he did that, we would all give up. This is what makes it so dangerous for us to point out others' faults to them. It could overwhelm them, and cause them to stop trying altogether.

He is merciful to reveal to us what he wants us to overcome, a little at a time. All the sin and shortcomings in our lives *must* be overcome. As the Word tells us, perfection is attained in steps, "here a little, and there a little", until we have completed the task. As soon as one of our sins is overcome, another will raise its ugly head like a serpent, until we have overcome it, and accomplished God's purpose in our lives.

If we overcome all else, and lack one thing, it is as if we are guilty of all.

Just something to ponder…

May we overcome the world,

~Andy
