Why should I not harm other people? Why should I not harm myself - not a wholly academic question on a board like this in a society like ours where being a BL is enough for some people to commit suicide. How do I decide if an act will damage my relationship with God? Your answers are the standard ones that we've come to accept as the consensus in the Western world. They fail to define the other - why do we include blacks and Jews as full humans but exclude unborn children and animals? Only 50 years ago the answer was to include unborn children but exclude blacks and Jews - especially in Nazi Germany..... I want to offer the theocentric one - it is what God says that matters. |
