Hi Once a Boy, I'm back again. I had a particularly long and difficult week at my new job, last week, and found it impossible to go on-line. I hate that because I always miss so much here at CBLF, but boy am I glad to be reading today! My friend, I will indeed include Nick and yourself in my prayers. From what I read in your post, it sure sounds like God is hard at work in your lives. God is working with your hearts, that is where His Kingdom is. He has done the very same for me as well, with regards to my YF, L. It was a few years ago, L. is 18 now (I became his best friend when he was only 9), but I noticed something happening when I would be with him, or when he would spend the wekends at my house with me. My sexual interest was put aside mostly, and I became much more interested in our relationship with each other. It became a thrill just to be around him, and to do things with him...even little things we did together were special (like laying on the hood of my ol 74 Chevy Monty-Carlo and looking at clouds.). I introduced him to God when he was 10, and he asked Jesus into his life then. It was then that I started to believe that perhaps I was not the horrible pervert I had thought I was. How could a "horrible pervert" care about talking to a boy about God? It has been a long and winding road since then, but my faith has grown...as I am certain your's will! Today. L. and I live together (we share a rental house, we are not involved physically with one another...he is 100 percent heterosexual.). We are STILL geat friends, and are even closer now than ever, actually. It was so good to read about how you are doing, brother. God Bless you and Nick, and your's... Love in Christ, Chris |
