Sharing something with the boys!

I had youthgroup tonight. And the Lord's been working at me to be more open and joyful and worshipful at youthgroup! I have a GREAT Time!!! I praised the Lord so much that I have cramps in my knees from all the jumping around I did! I love leading worship for 12 year olds! They are so much fun! I have all these motions to fun songs like "The Great Adventure" by S C Chapman and stuff like that! But anyway, in my small group, I only had two boys. And those are the two boys who have been coming all year. Well, today I decided to share a little bit about myself. I decided to share with them my adiction of pornography when I was in High school. And how the Lord's helped me with it. I shared about how porn took over my life. Ruled me... and this and that... and their eyes were really wide because they were shocked that a man would say soemthing like that to them. They felt really weird because I had actually told them something "special." It was a great experience. Don't know what this has to do with anything, but I have a feeling one of the boys in my group has some "baggage" he wants to get off my chest. And they are at the age where porn becomes very... umm.. appealing? Yeah that's it... appealing. Talk to you all later! Huck |
