Hi, this is GraceComesFirst (the new guy). I'm changing my nick so as not to wear out my fingers with the typing. (I'm starting to like the spelling "boi"....) This may be obvious to most of you, but I just wanted to say, that although there are starting to be more people like me in the world, it doesn't mean that the anti-BL people are just going to give up and stop persecuting you. So please, continue to practice all necessary caution; keep protecting yourselves as you have always done. Although my therapist is unusually open to these issues, there are still many people in the mental health profession who are not. So please don't start confessing your boylove to Joe Average on the street, or even any miscellaneous mental health professionals whom you are unsure of. You still need to be very comfortable with a person, I think, before you take the risk to come out to them (if you intend to do so at all). This may be obvious to everyone, but in case there are any new people here, I wanted to say it. |
