I do wish you'd write more posts like this; every time you do I find myself agreeing with you. But I find myself puzzled as well. As far as I can tell, you think that every person on these boards is a detriment to the cause, because all of them use words like boylover. I agree with you (as I said before) that just calling a person "person" is the best way thing to do in most cases. But what if you introduce me to someone, and you want to indicate what my sexual orientation is, because it's relevant to the conversation? How do you do so without saying the dreaded word "bisexual"? Even the Greeks had words to indicate where their sexual interests lay, as Foucault himself would point out.
