mvanhouten's tried the same thing at Crossroads and pretty much got away with it there. As to here, if you'll check, it was mikey that suggested that he and I quit arguing and start talking. My "To mvanhouten" post was the result. I asked serious questions of him...and he turned it into a "who's-got-the-bigger-dick" thread, refusing to acknowledge the fact that I am a separate entity from Heather and have my own opinions. Then he has the audacity to declare himself the "victor" in the discussion. There are no "victors" in discussions. I'll talk reasonably to anyone who wants to talk reasonably...and apologize when I'm in error (evidence: Sprite), but I won't continue to be degraded without fighting back. Nor will I stand back and watch my friends being harrassed. I'm not a Christian. I don't have to fight "by the rules". My curtesy ends when my patience does. You've made some good posts GCF, and I respect a lot of them, but there are just some people who aren't worth trying to help. They'll never get past the anger that they have. mvanhouten's one of them. And, coming from someone who's fought to earn CAs a place on our boards, it's really hard to give up on one of my own kind...but I have to make exceptions once in a while. |
