Your guilt is part of being human... It's a good thing, as long as you don't let it drag you down too far. Love is selfish... We(all of us), by our very nature, are selfish creatures... Our Eyes draw us to another... But it is our Hearts that may keep us there. Umm... Parents. As a parent(which I'm not(yet)), I would not want my child involved with anyone. I would fear for my child's safety. Fear, it should be noted, is a defense mechanism. Perhaps, only TRUE love endures all... If love does not endure, perhaps it was not true... I would think that if you find a 'soul-mate' your passion, love, call it what you will, would never lose its warmth. For those who say that love can not last forever; remember that a certain some one loves all of us, now and FOREVER. Sprite. |
