Again, if you're only talking about just plain sex; you're damn right it can cause guilt... If you go out & screw somebody you barely know, or even some one you know very well, if there's no love there, you have every right to feel guilty... Perhaps you even should feel guilty... You've used some one... You've used yourself... Cheapened yourself... Given your body to some one you have no feelings for... But if you're talking about love.... It's a whole different ball game. Plain-ass sex will give you a temporary high, just like a drug... Followed by a low... But the emotional high you get from love doesn't go away... Love only leads to depression when it is denied... "The guilt is from family, society, and God. The guilt is there for a reason." From family, YES, if one's family is insensitive & forces you to feel bad. From society, HELL YEAH, society has shown that it doesn't give a shit about the individual. From God, NO, God rarely if ever makes you feel guilt, especially if love was involved... Society makes people believe that God wants you to feel bad... Society uses God as a weapon... They hurt people, even kill them, IN HIS NAME. I'm certain that God feels disappointment, perhaps even disgust for this misuse of His name... Society even convinces some poor souls that God is this evil ogre, and those people turn their backs on the one person who absolutely, 100% does care about them. Sometimes guilt serves the one experiencing it... But all too often it only serves the goals of our cruel society... If children could be shielded from the negativity of society, they would not feel such guilt about physical relationships... Youth suicide is due to many things. The worst of which is Guilt, for any action, but not guilt from within, or from God... Guilt imposed upon them by family, and, to a greater extent, society... Those who wrong others in the name of the Lord, probably come closer to being doomed than anyone else I can think of... I'm sorry for all of you here who are plagued by lust, and unhealthy desires... Such an unholy flame burns within us all, but mine is obviously much cooler than most of yours... Many of you act as though you are worried that you'll DO something... Something wrong... You seem afraid that you'll act on your feelings... And the reason for your fear is that you 'know' such actions to be wrong... Probably, because your Family, your Community, or just Society at large has hammered such notions into you... I was spared all of that... I wish more of you had been as well... I know myself to be capable of giving so much love... And I have a burning desire to give it... To the most beautiful, and perhaps most deserving creatures I see around me... I wish to find one, with whom I have a connection... And to whom I can give all my love... If to impart love is a sin... Then God would have to have nothing to do with love... But God IS love... LOVE can not be a sin... If I thought other wise, I would take my own life, right now. Add that to the list of reasons for youth suicide; loss of Faith... Perhaps guilt from God only falls on the wicked... The innocent are forced to suffer by Society... Sprite. PS: If you wish me gone, say it, and then let it be done... |
