It was the whole problem of being at camp in a bed that was way too small in the first place. You see, my YF Jeremy and i do some stuff like that. On New Years Eve, I was sitting on the couch with him. Our arms were around each other and we were watching Hook. And a girl walks by and goes, "awwwww." And Jeremy, the smart 11 year old that he is, has this all covered! He says, "I love my pillow." And I say, "I love my teddy bear." ANd the girl laughted and went on her way. So it's not the fact that I feel bad about giving a boy the touch he wants. I mean I want the same touch. So obviously I believe it's a good thing. And some parents believe it is too. Usually when I have sleepovers at campers houses, I have no problem sharing a room or laying next to them on the floor. But I freaked out because of what would be thought of by others. Especially because last summer, I was "accused of being a homosexual." That blew over and nothing will come of it I hope. But seeing me in bed with 2 boys. :::sigh::: Sometimes I wonder if Jesus layed down with a boy. Jesus knew the bible backwards and forwards. In Ecc it says when two lay down together they keep each other warm. So, I'm sure that Jesus layed down with his disciples many times. And what happened when boys followed Jesus. A shivering child comes near Jesus and lays down. What does Jesus think? For this child, I will prepare a mansion for! That's problaby what! He loved him so much. For this child I will lay down my life. For THIS CHILD will I share my mighty power. What an amazing thought? Jesus loved not only men and women. But boys and girls. And one of my favorite bible passages is when Jesus calls the little children to him! Lifting one on his lap. Smiling at them... Imagine if a woman walks up and hands Jesus a little baby. What would Jesus do? I can see the creator of the universe tickling his cheeks and chin. I can see the master of creation break a smile and coo right back at the infant. I can his eyes make a connection with this baby's eyes. The beauty of them both. Praise the Lord. He has created each of us. He shaped us in the womb. He knows the number of hairs on our heads. He cared so much for us... So that's why we must show the love to others. May the Love of Christ be with you! Huck Finn |
