We've tried patience, we've tried understanding. But I suspect that understanding is not the reason you are here. Rather, I suspect that you simply enjoy a good fight. You say that you have many sources of love in your life, and I truly am glad to hear this. But how then can you not recognise love when it is staring you down. Can you argue that there is no greater gift than that of your life in exchange for another. How about that of your life in exchange for several billion others. Please start contributing and not simply antagonising. You've also said that you hold faith in no god or gods. That's scary. Even a materialistic man worships some thing. Money. His car.
