God knows the truth on all issues. Each of us must search our own hearts and pray for guidance into what is right. I do use the Bible to help me along, but even so, I can never totally live as Jesus lived. Can anyone? Yet, I do know we shouldn't judge others without looking at ourselves first. Who amongst us is not guilty of sin? None.

Thus, we should be open to other people realizing that certain people's views will not conform with ours. Sometimes they do; sometimes they don't. It depends on the issue. I am sure there are many issues you and Jim could agree on. In short, it depends on what God had given you to experience. When people have similar experiences around a particular issue, then they usually agree on that issue. However, when people have different experiences (and God gave us these!), then the peolple involved usually want to defend their position.

In all honesty, there is nothing to defend. In fact, by listening to others who are "different", we do our greatest learning and growing. I think this is pleasing to God. He wants us to love one another! It is not always easy, because we want to stay inside our box and not change, yet life is constantly asking us to change.

Finally, you seem so scared about sex with boys! Indeed, I would not advocate this, but as a child, I had sex with boys. It was right at that time in my life. One may find sex with boys to be "the way" at this time in their lives. If one is considering this, beware! There are, of course, society and internal battles that one will face. There was a time in my life....no comment! Indeed, it was right then. Did God teach me a great many lessons!

Today, I have come to see that sex is temporary; love is permanent. I have also come to clearly see that sex is only one infinitesimally small way to show someone your love. Although I don't agree with Jim's ideas regarding sheep (Jim never said this!), I think he is creating stress in the lives of some of us who are unwilling to admit that we too have issues pressing on our hearts, and God is trying to teach us something. What might He be trying to teach us?
