| I understand. It feels so great to be around a beautiful boy -- one who is smart and funny and listens and talks to you. I don't understand why I feel this way, and boy (oops) would I love to be able to!! I guess it's the same way people feel about their pets -- the way some people can get so obsessed with their cats and dogs. Does it have something to do with the unconditional love that we think we get from boys? Or something to do with the adult/influential role in a boy's life? There was a boy in my life that I would've loved to have lived with forever, if he would just stay the way he was... but, he became a teenager and got interested in other things that changed him. Why must they change? I still love him and hope to have a continuing friendship with him, but he's not the same kid I once knew. He used to be so fun, and had nothing to hide. And he looked up to me, no matter what. He made me feel loved, and loved him. It was great. There's something to this, and I don't quite know what it is. I think it's something most of us wonder about -- why do I have these feelings? There's just something about a boy that makes me feel so good, and I don't know why. I mean, I know what things about a boy makes me feel good... but why? |
