It's true. It's true. God doesn't make mistakes. People do. God has not spoken to us, and told us it is wrong. People wrote the bible, long ago, in Hebrew... Translation has been very difficult, and almost certainly flawed... Sensitivity & shyness are hardly homosexual tendencies... Part of being gay can be genetic, most of it is chemical-related... We don't control it. God could change such things if he wished, he has not... One can only assume that he doesn't care if we are gay or not... If you think God is a twisted psycho, who likes torturing people, then you are welcome to your opinion. In dealings with people of your type, much like the federal government, reality need not apply. "Whats the point of saying that the Bible is th infallible word of God?" There is none. It isn't God's word. Some of it is probably right, but some is likely wrong... Some parts make sense, others don't. Some people say it's wrong to pick and choose what to believe, but most do that any way. The old & new testaments, for example. At one point the bible says you must kill your mother if she wears a garment made from two different cloths, etc. One of the ten commandments, possibly the most important for everyday living, is 'thou shalt not kill'. The bible contradicts itself so much that it is not only foolish, but actually impossible to believe the whole thing! Sprite. |
