Our views are closer than I first thought... Still... I believe that all human beings are the Lord's children... All that exists is His creation... Those who turn their backs on Him, those who never believed, or have never heard of Him are still His children... They are still loved, and perhaps even saved, after death, if they seek forgiveness... For the Lord has infinite mercy, and infinite grace... As I said in another message; try to be as God is, but know that you will fail. I feel you are correct about 'entertaining' lustful thoughts... To do so would be to break one of the ten commandments; thou shalt not covet. We all seek to fulfill our desires... And all our desires are selfish. The Lord would not want us to love Him, if we did not desire to do so, would He? Our desires, wants and needs are not necessarily sinful... The desire/want/need to love another does not always contain lust, and even if it does; one bad apple does NOT ruin the whole bunch. "...manipulate, coerce or seduce..." -These are bad things, but please note that it is not always the adult who will commit such acts... I'd like to also note that it is possible for children to consent to sexual activity, they are not allowed that right in most places, but the ability still exists... I know, I often sound like the devil's advocate... When I was younger, I would have loved to have an AF, and possibly, at some point, be it at eight or sixteen, I would have wanted something physical... And it should have been my choice... If two people are happy, and both wish do something(sexual or otherwise) with the other, then it should be of no concern to anyone else... Unless some one is being harmed, it's no one's business but theirs. A boy may never want sex, but, whatever happens, it should always be his choice. For the record... I do seek to satisfy my own selfish desires & cravings... As I said, all desires are selfish, and nothing that we do in life is done unless we desire it to be so in one form or another... As for lust... I suppose I experience it like anyone else... Such cravings are there to insure mating takes place, but mating isn't needed to end the craving... Once the chemicals are gone from your mind, you feel better... And that good feeling isn't the afterglow of an orgasm, it's the clearing of your mind... Orgasms are a biological imperative, but it does cause 'lust' in a way... I feel that when making-love you should not be in 'heat', you should be calm... For love-making is an emotional & spiritual experience... Lust may be seen more often than love these days, but love is still there... Be sure that you do not ruin love, by mistaking it for lust...
