When is sex unpleasing to God?

Indeed, if a society allowed and encouraged these types of relationships, then most of the boys who lacked this relationship would feel they were missing something. In American society, this type of relationship is not encouraged, and most boys do not feel they are missing anything in regards to sexual relations with men. The American culture has been based on Judeo-Christian principals, so this is the reason our society is not going to change into a society that promotes sexual relationships between men and boys.

Yor last question was, "What if society is actually behaving in ways that cause harm and is actually displeasing God?" Indeed many nations and people are doing things that are not pleasing to God. Did you mean in regards to man/boy relationships? I think pressure from society (and internal pressures) to NOT get involved in a boy's life is unpleasing to God. Our society does have a skeptical eye on men who want to uplift a boy in despair and who are experiencing hopelessness. I believe this attempt to stop love must be unpleasing to God.

As far as sexual relationships between men and boys, I don't want to speculate...perhaps my experience as an American has influenced my ideas; however, I do not believe sex is the goal of God. I beleive love is the goal of God. He wants us to love...sex is just a thing..sometimes it can keep people from loving others. People can get fixiated on their partners and not open themselves up to other souls. Or people are not loving their partner but merely using their partner for sex, which again is not love. In this way, I think sex can be unpleasing to God.
