Haven't these guys gotten enough chances? To tell you the truth, after I read Jordan's first flame, I haven't read a single message of his. And I remembered Gideon's flame from several months ago, so I haven't read any of his recent posts either. I don't have much time or patience for flames. My hats off to those who can patiently respond and show them love. I thought it was working with Jordan, when he let us know he had been abused as a boy, and apologized for things he had said. But now he's flaming again? (Like I said, I haven't read his posts, just other people's responses to him.) At a math homework discussion board for teachers and students, once I responded to a student's question with a comment that didn't actually help him with the math. My post was removed without warning or explanation. It just disappeared. My post wasn't insulting or distasteful or obscene or misleading. Just off topic. We sure tolerate a lot here. I'll continue ignoring Jordan's and Gideon's posts. Mark |
