when reading your responses, Ford, relates directly to this question. But I fear your answer is simply a giving up of responsibility for finding a solution. A bridge from seeing pedophiles as monsters who should be killed, to admitting that Christ came to love everyone... murders, pedophiles and every sinner in the same way. And that the Church needs to minister as much to pedophiles, and with pedophiles, and for pedophiles, as they do to prisoners on Death Row. Sadly, this is not currently the case.
