your question goes to the heart of the truth or otherwise of the Christian message; either it is true despite all the suffering in the world, or it is not. If it is true, then one day it will make sense when we are finally with God for all time. Once you take the step of faith of accepting that it is true - and you appear to have done - then it is necessary to build your life on that basis. And part of that building process is to leave the first question behind, because it is unlikely that you will get an answer, and you are very unlikely to by just gnawing at it. But you may by going out and serving others; there are two married men who have described me as their 'mentor' in the Christian life because of the efforts that I put into their lives, partly because of the love I felt for them as 'boys'. This is not a risk free strategy - and I have the advantage now that I can relate to older teens as boys, though in the past it was a younger age group. I know that doesn't answer your question, but it does perhaps show a way forward and raise the hope that there are ways of prospering. And your finding this board is very positive as well - we've all been where you are, and have found some sort of answer to live with.
