so it's possible to survive to such an old age ;-)

... ok ok so Ford makes us look like whippersnappers and I'm in my EARLY forties myself!!

I've had some great friendships develop as a result of contacts on this board - met a few in real life, but most are still virtual. But it has made my life MUCH better as a result, so I hope you flourish here as well.

I'm fascinated by your references to your spiritual journey - I must admit to a certain prejudice against all who say things like 'different from standard religions' as it often is an excuse for cutting loose from the revealed word of God. On the other hand it SOMETIMES is as a result of spotting the weaknesses of those other denominations, and truly moving into something that is a true work of the Holy Spirit. It's just that there is so much New Age stuff around (which of course is almost always old pagan beliefs merely recycled and repackaged for another load of suckers) that it is easy to lose sight of the core values of our faith -'Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again' and 'since all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, they are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, who God put forth as an expiation by his blood to be received by faith' Romans 3 v 23 - 25.

sorry, sermon over; I'm just tired of the confusion that is endemic in large parts of my own denomination in particular....

I'm also interested in your phrase about being 'neither straight nor gay' - do you want to expand on that a bit; I know for myself that I'd probably tick the 'exclusively gay' box, as I entirely fail to understand most men's appreciation for females. Or are you getting at being purely a boy lover, with no time for older men or women? I guess that's where I am, though my AoA seems to be about 16 - 25 at the moment, though has been a lot younger in the past.

Hope that provides some points to open up the discussion with; or you may want to drop me a line...

anyway - new people are always welcome - hope you find as many new friends here as I have over the past few months!
