saying that any group should be denied their rights. I'm just saying that gays don't qualify as a special interest group any more than fast food restaurant owners, people with bad teeth, bird watchers, or kite flyers qualify as a special interest group. All of them (gays included)share the same basic rights without having special legislation to gurantee those rights. And don't overestimate the influence of the religious right. If that was the only group promoting the traditional family, then you probably wouldn't be spouting your imbecilic epithets. The fact of the matter is that a majority of the people in this country and in Congress also support the traditional family whether they are Christian or not.

BTW, were you actually looking for an answer to your "why" question? I gathered from your tone that you weren't really looking for an answer. It appeared that it was a continuation of your rants. Had I thought you were seriously looking for an answer, I probably would have given my opionion (which is all I could give since I don't speak for all Christians). However, at this juncture, I think that you are not actually interested in hearing an answer to that question. All you are looking for is another opportunity to spread your own hate filled venom.

Also, how do you get off saying that I am superstitious? You don't know me. You don't know what I believe or disbelieve other than the fact that you are neither a gentleman nor a scholar. You don't even know if I actually believe the things I have been saying. Further, most, if not all of the things the things that you have been spouting off about are based on ignorance. You obviously don't know the first thing about carrying out an intelligent debate in which people with opposing positions share their ideas in a give and take format. You are more of an example of fanaticism than any of the posters I have read here. All you can say is fuck you, fuck this, and fuck that. Boy, that's really intelligent!

Now for the sake of argument let's go back to the one question you actually answered. You say that human beings create rights. Isn't that correct? Does that mean that in America there were no rights before our founding fathers wrote the Bill of Rights? A simple 'yes' or 'no' will probably suffice. I don't want to tax your brain this early in the debate.

P.S. If you sincerely want an answer to the "why" question, let me know. I'll think about answering it. Oh, yeah, did you ever read the three threads I suggested?
