Just wondering, how would it be possible to combat the Nazis non violently?

Not to mention that Hitler had plans to invade England before they had declared war on him (He often spent more time planning the changes he'd make in London than actual military strategy)

And Germany's ally, Japan was just as aggressive, and more violent than the Nazis. Also it is very likely that they would have attacked Pearl Harbour even if America had not been assisting a war between Britain and Germany (this is assuming there was no armed combat between them). Japan wanted to eliminate American naval presence in the Pacific (they had no illusions they would defeat America in a full scale war alone)

Now if Pearl Harbour had been bombed and Britain was against war, then the Axis powers would most likely have won in the end.

This is all speculation of course, it's hard to wonder how history may have been.

But also, with the horrors the Nazis were committing against the Jewish race (and homosexuals, communists, non-Jesuit Catholics and anyone they didn't like), they had to be stopped. No question.

One last point, how did some of the countries on the continent battle the Nazis non violently?

I know of two actions they took, capitulation or armed underground resistance.
