i'd like to hear others respond to your questions. even if we don't know the answers. what comes first, the boylover or the boy? with me, it varies. sometimes i feel great compassion and concern (love) for a boy for whom i have no sexual attraction. it makes me wonder. i mean, why is the sexual attraction there for one boy and not the other even tho i feel love for both boys? you said: Perhaps the sexual images are an attempt by my brain to imagine what it would be like to be "that" close, to find unity with another person. to be "that" close. i think we all understand wanting to be "that" close. lately, i've been courting a young lady, and i've been wondering "that" about her. i suppose it's normal for me to wonder this about a woman -- what it would be like to be "that" close to her. she is so beautiful, and so smart! i feel like i've got to have her for my own -- like she has to be a part of my future forever. but i've also had these same feelings for boys. it must be a part of our sexual make-up as human beings, depending where our attractions lie.
