It's nice to meet you

Like JohnQ, I got interested in Orthodoxy a few years back. You're certainly not the first Orthodox Christian here - a non-pedophile who occasionally posts here, Dirk Gently, is Orthodox, and I believe that Bach (the Webmaster here) mentioned to me once that another Orthodox boylover had stopped by here. I interviewed Dirk a couple of years ago for my interfaith newsmagazine for adults who are attracted to minors (I'm not attracted to children myself, by the way), and he said in the interview, "Many of the people who identify themselves as Christians on CBF [the Christian Boylove Forum] are evangelical, or even fundamentalist. I am an Orthodox Christian, and my occasional theological posts reflect this, but I have never been accused of idolatry or belonging to the Whore of Babylon. In fact, several people have replied to some of my posts to thank me for bringing this perspective to bear on the various issues we've discussed." So I'm sure you'll meet others here who, like myself, am grateful to meet a new Orthodox voice here. It's also nice to have someone here from outside the English-language countries - I often wonder what it's like to be a boylover elsewhere in the world.
