I never heard of "The Winter Class", I'll have to look out for it.

I saw "Happiness". It was pretty shocking, but not a a bad movie. I was just about to ask why paedophiles are only ever portrayed in the most violent, shockingly pathetic manner, but then I remember the review below of this new movie "L.I.E.", so I'll be looking forward to seeing that. It was weird though, after the molestor in "Happiness" drugged and raped the boy, to hear the boy say to him "you're so cool", not remembering what had happened cause he was drugged out.

I saw "You Are Not Alone" with a couple of BL friends. It's quite a sweet movie, kind of romantic. I should probably me more shocked by the boy who kept wanting to have sex with everything, with his hand, with the girl, with the older boy in the shower. Maybe I was too jealous to be properly shocked.

There's an amazing new Irish novel recently released called "A Swim, Two Boys". About two lads in the the time of the Irish Revolution, who are in love with each other. "Old pal o' me heart", the one says of the other. There's a man too entwined in their life. Quite moving.
