I flirted with the idea of becoming a Jesuit during my altar boy days. A Jesuit priest came and spoke at my school and told stories of his great adventures bringing the word of the Lord to the heathens of the world and so on. I thought "Gosh that sounds like a crack!" but it never really panned out. I didn't get much encouragement. Being my parents only child I was expected to give my parents grandchildren. Just as well though I don't really have the right stuff for the priesthood I suppose. And black suits never looked good on my anyhow. Imtheochaidh sor is soir.
