New kid on the block!

A week or two ago I was directed to this site by a Christian BL friend of mine whom I had met in a group. What a joyful, confronting, caring and wonderful place this is! I have logged on every couple of nights since, and it is the first time I have come across brothers who have the same issues as I. I am 38 years old, and my struggles commenced at puberty and after years of struggle, counselling, groups and the rest, I have come to a point of acceptance and building my life on the opportunities I have had. By the grace of God, I am not guilty of sexual misconduct, and I have enjoyed wonderful, life building and positive relationships with my YF's and their families. I truly believe, as do so many of you, that in spite of society's misunderstanding and intolerance of us, those of us who walk in Christ's footsteps can have our flawed sexuality recreated into something beautiful for God, as we have the love and the patience to minister in a way that is difficult and arduous for most people. I will pray for you, my brothers, as I know you are for me. Christ is walking with us in our struggles. Love, Sardis |
