Man, I can't believe how horrible "Christians" have acted toward you guys. I, as a born-again Christian and a BL, have to think that maybe, just maybe they acted out in ignorance. A lot is said for "fear of the unknown," or maybe in this case "misunderstood." I will admit, since I understand BL and Christianity, I know it is hard to think of those two terms in one "phrase." I think one of the most horrible things is when people in the church "rate" sin according to their own tolerance level. While I don't understand alchohol or other substance abuse, I try very hard to accept and love the person where they are at. Our pastor always preaches "maybe hate the sin, but love and support the sinner." I think his meaning, after listening to him for years, is that while we may not understand behavior, learn to love and accept the person and then try to understand who they are and why they do what they do. I think human life is the most important, precious gift, outside of Salvation through Christ. My heart breaks when I hear people are pushed to such a point in their lives that they think the only way out is to end their own life. End the pain, suffering and humiliation caused by "Christians." See, I also believe their is a HUGE difference between "church goers" and Christians. While I know most people don't and wouldn't understand a big part of who I am, I just don't "go there" with them. I don't allow myself to be hurt or falsly accused by people who don't understand the diffence between true BL, and child rape or molestation. I am sitting here fighting back the tears, just thinking of how abused some of you are or have been. That is SOOOO not what Christ would have done to His people. All I can say is, please, know that you and your lives DO have value. God created you for a purpose. God has you "sucking in air" for a purpose. Please allow Him the time to show you what that purpose is! I will pray for peace of mind, peace of heart for you, as well as understanding and acceptance among the people you interact with.
