After The 'Ho Ho Ho' is 'O-O-Over'

Hi All, I must say I do like the cool Holiday look in here! I am writing to see if anyone here gets the "after-holiday-blues" like I do? My Christmas went pretty good, a lot better than I had anticipated really. I attended an 11 o'clock p.m. service Christmas Eve which was probably one of the very best Christmas services I have ever enjoyed. It included a lot of differant kinds of Christmas music, from contemporary rock to traditional. The Pastor read a story that was really neat (AND a tear-jerker as well), and his daughter did a kind of a modern-jazz-interperative dance with deaf hand signing thrown in...it's difficult to describe but just beautiful to watch. And, to top it all off, it was a candle-light service with the entire congregation holding candles and singing "Silent Night". I do not think there was a dry eye in the place after that! Then, Christmas Day, I was over to a friend's place for dinner....very, very good, too. And then I had to stop over at the Pastor's house because I was invited there as well. That was really fun because I wound up cutting up with him and his family as they opened gifts. I love to laugh and be joyful with people, especially people I have grown to love as I have with these folks. But, now it is after Christmas and I just keep getting these fairly negative thoughts all day long. Oh, hey, I DO know how to handle this kind of thing because, first of all, I recognise Satan's handy work. And secondly, it's going to take a heck of a lot more than some negative thoughts and over-all nasty vibes to get to me now! But I do get sick of it after a while and I was just wondering if anyone else out there gets the same kind of thing after Christmas.
