A friend of mine has SAD. She has a special lamp that simulates the sun's rays which helps her. I don't think just turning on more lights will help if that is what you have. The cheapest thing to do is try to get as much direct sunlight as possible. Another thing you can try is to buy Saint John's Wort at a health food store. It's a natural remedy for depression but it takes some time of you taking it regularly to work. There are prescriptions available like Prozac, but that can get expensive both for the pills and for the doctor visits that would be required to get them. Dakota |
