I've had a bit of contact with another group but not that one.

On the whole I think it's a bit of a cop out - being a single person in modern Western society is probably harder than it used to be, but that is no excuse for abandoning biblical standards. It's the same issue as taking Jesus's words about divorce seriously - it's not fashionable today, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't happen.
