The thing is, I wasn't being sarcastic when I used that as an example of a supposedly loving Christian being judgemental. It's a paradox I discuss with fellow Christians very frequently. From previous conversations I recall that you take exception to Christians saying that all human beings sin. I thought that maybe it would make more sense or be more relevant to you for me to say that all human beings, by nature, are judgemental. I believe that this is true, and I hope that you do not find that statement in itself offensive. I do not accept that a nonChristian is more sinful than a Christian. I don't believe that sin works that way. In the discussion about judgement it wasn't that one party was sinful and the other one was free from sin. It wasn't that one party's sin was greater than the other. Each person was sinning... and perhaps that's the implication that you dislike. Peace, Bach |
