Dear Splash! 'Pay It Forward' was one of the few movies where I walked out of the theatre sobbing every time I saw it (I mean, pretending I had something in my eye). Just kidding (about the pretending thing, that is), I'm actually very open about displaying emotion in public. As far as A.I. being disturbing - absolutely. I walked out of that movie feeling very dissonant, a lot of conflicting feelings inside. As I've stated elsewhere in the thread, I'm really looking forward to its release on DVD - especially now that this thread has raised some new issues for me as to what was going on in some of the relational dynamics. Thanks again for your interest in this thread - I think I'll go watch 'Pay It Forward' now that you've brought that movie up! Love in the Lord, J |
