Actually, I wasn't lumping anyone together. I was using individual exagerated examples to make a point, the point that it's impossible to go thru life without ever judging anyone for anything. Each intentionally exagerated question was separate. It was not being asked of the same person or group of people.

May I make an observation without incurring your wrath? If you feel you've reached the pinnacle and there is no more room for you to grow, then skip the rest of this section. But if you do read it, keep in mind I'm not trying to insult you. It seems to me that you are letting your preconceived impressions control how you interpret what you read. I have noticed on several occasions that you get a totally different meaning from what is written than is intended. The idea that I was talking about the same people or group of people as mentioned above is the latest example. Of course, you only have my word for it as to what I meant, but I have no reason to lie. It's like you are unconsciously thinking "I know this person is like this, so he must mean this." It would help your understanding of a lot of things, not just this, if you didn't run how you interpret things thru your preconception filter first. Just a suggestion. Feel free to ignore it.

The reason I put up my previous post was because I have been searching for years for the Bible's truths about judging and what is expected of me as a Christian. I don't think it wise to take just one passage and base everything on that. So I look for what other parts of the Bible say about it. My goal is not necessarily to avoid offending people, although I do try not to be offensive as much as possible. My goal is to find out what God would want me to do in any given situation. I doubt I will ever have a definitive answer till I get to heaven, but I keep searching and trying to learn. After all, life is a journey.

But I do want to thank you for taking the time to read my long post and reply. And you did it without calling me a name or using a single vulgarity. I'm proud of you. (and that's sincere, not a wisecrack)
