Martin Luther King changed American society. Both of these men made the transformation without resorting to violence. Non-violent civil disobedience (like Tiananmen Square) can make a major impact on society. How can one respond non-violently to terrorism without just agreeing to do anything and everything any terrorists demand? By not agreeing to any of their demands. By promoting peace and feeding people. By educating and loving our neighbours. You may be sitting there watching people die, but I'm trying to change the world. Peace of Christ, Bach |
