Lonely J, I guess I don't have any good answers for you either. I feel very badly that somethat that I might have done (or might not have done) hurt you. I hope that you can forgive this. I can tell you for sure that I would never ignore a cry for help. Sometimes posting messages doesn't convey what is really in our heart the way that spoken words can. I hear your anger and frustration in what you write. I don't doubt for one minute that it is hard to see God in your situation. What happened to you sounds awful....I can't claim to understand it fully. I think of Jesus, carrying his cross to the place where he would be crucified, and yet never once laying his cross down. Others around him must have lost all hope, that God's hand could possibly be at work, when this much pain and suffering was going on. Yet Jesus knew that God would reign. We are not Jesus, and it is our nature to want green pastures, assuring us that God is there. I don't believe that our prayers are meant for other people to hear necessarily. I believe that they are for God to hear. I believe that God does hear your prayers, even when others don't. I believe that every ounce of faith that you can muster, will produce a crop a thousand times. I will pray for you. You are not alone. Love, Ben |
