My uncle. My father left the ministry about the same time that his younger brother was being ordained. If you followed the posts about childhood memories on BC the other day, this is the same uncle who called us from Vietnam sometimes. He developed a terrible heroin addiction while he was there serving a hitch in the infantry. He's a lovely example today of what is good about Christianity. He's a kind, compassionate man who doesn't presume to judge people by their sexual activity. He's certainly never told me that I have questionable morals. |
