in the first part of the gospels is: 'Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand' e.g. Mt 4 v17, Mk 1 v15. and his final words are 'Go, therefore and make disciples of all nations... teaching thenm to observe all that I have commanded you.' Mt 28 v19,20. An analysis of the word repent makes clear that it means turning from doing your will to doing God's will. Good enuff answer to the challenge?! |
