I also would like to see you stay here. Yes, I too think it would be a good thing for Christians and Muslims to talk. Not just because of 9/11, but because I think it would enrich everyone involved. (As long as we can refrain from flames). BTW, I do get perturbed with those of Forgiven's comments that are insulting, but tend to ignore them. I don't think he's hateful, but he just doesn't realize how insulting they are. I put up with a lot worse in the conservative Christian community where I lived for 8 years. (I disagreed with them on so many issues, and they implied that people with my beliefs were deceived, satanic, etc.) And Altima is in no way intolerant or bigoted. He was just questioning some of AIW's assumptions. I think most people here would welcome you warmly. I hope you stay. Mark |
