If you will humour me ;-) ... I'm talking about theological concepts that may not be fully played out in reality for the purposes of defining certain doctrine and priniciples of theological analysis...

Obviously you were rushed and didn't have much time for this... I hope that you will come back to it, and even better, that some other folks who have studied the area of Scripture and sexual morality will chime in to help us out.

Why do I go as far as boylove? Not because I'm trying to promote sex with boys... because my "theology of intimate relationships" should stand up to scrutiny whether it be applied to male/female, male/male adult or adult/minor relationships. I should be able to discern how God wants me to interact within committed relationships - whether they include sexual contact or not.

From those basic priniciples, I can then move on to a contextual situation and discuss the merits and difficulties of each with a moral compass that has already been anchored in the paradigm.

I hope you see where I'm going with all this "theological babble".

Peace of Christ,
Bach
