seems to be a very emotionally driven one, without much depth. The command of Paul uses the word Agape not Eros. In a lot of more traditional societies marriages are arranged - and are often a lot more stable because the parents understand their kids better than the kids understand themselves. At the time of marriage the couple is usually not 'in love' - but later develop a very positive relationship. (Obviously there are disasters....)

I admit to being looking both ways on this. Part of me is quite taken by Sally's logic that getting married is a positive step if you aren't coping with celibacy, even given the lack of the same spark as you have with boys. Part of me is doubtful whether this is fair on your girlfriend. The ideal would be to tell her - but that is an incredibly high risk strategy - though the rewards are enormous as well.

There are times when I'm pleased my life is that bit simpler.
