Hi Bill, Thanks for your post. It is encouraging. I have an older friend who disciples and mentors me, and I've found it very helpful for keeping me on track. I don't ever want to get into a situation where I lose his trust or make him disgusted with me. Much less God, of course; though, for some strange reason, knowing God will forgive me and love me, I don't worry about Him so much. But maybe that shows that I don't love Him like I should? Bill, it's good to hear that you have a wife who has been able to love you and see you through these things. I hope to find someone like that also. God willing, it will happen for me. But in the meantime, I know God has preserved me for a purpose, even though my life is filled with many sins. HE will see me through and develop my character because of these things, as long as I stay close by His side and continue to seek Him. God bless you as you do the same. Splash |
