articulating as it does all the pain that we all go through at some time. The strength of this board is that it is people who've asked the same questions and decided that despite the pain the Christian faith does still make sense; we are clinging on despite all that. It is my testimony that God has been with me through hard times, and in recent years has blessed with a number of friendships which might be categorised as YFs where both they and I benefit, and almost certainly those friendships wouldn't have happened if I wasn't a BL, and as a result some boys would have been a lot more miserable. But at other times it's been hard and lonely and very very miserable for me.... So welcome to the board - commited to try and be a support to each other as we go through that sort of struggle. I hope one day you will be able to see some good come out of it all. |
