Well said. I think we just need to get nearer and nearer to God through prayer and His word -- there's only one thing that will help us if we focus on it, and that's Jesus. Sometimes I have to admit that seems boring, but then if you start getting into it it really is so exciting. It's like after 2000 years the excitement has worn off, and we don't remember anymore that we're talking ETERNAL LIFE here, just GIVEN to us, when we don't deserve it. When I think of that... and wonder why on earth He even made me, let alone chose me.... that's so wonderful. And it wasn't free. Every time I think about that, it strikes me again how utterly amazing and beautiful is our God. Like you say... why? why? why? does he love us. And then gives us all kinds of other incredible gifts... His Spirit, His word, and other Christians. And then of course, real life hits and tends to take away a lot of that joy... but He's always there for us. I'm afraid I just don't turn to Him often enough. What you say about boys... I've found that sometimes I can focus on non-sexual aspects, the wonderful gift of life and happiness God has given them, even physical wonders like the eyes, the face (these things I can think about girls too -- humanity in general). It's when I start tracing down that I get into trouble. Anyway, sorry to ramble. I'll pray for you -- and I also thank God for all of you, for people who care about doing what's right.
